![]() Thanks for joining me on a journey that will take us who knows where. I have been working my way toward realising this dream for many years. I am amazed at how it's all come about! Many more steps to go, but it's a start...and you're a part of it! This blog is not only about death, it's about life and living before we die, so what I write is really about everything that has happened in between my birth and my eventual death! Today I want to talk about beginnings... As I embark on my new adventure I wanted to share with you what I've learned so far....and that is patience and resilience. It's taken me much resilience and plenty of patience to start my business, and maintain my passion throughout this process. I have always had a purpose in my life. I think there has been maybe one year where I really didn't know what I wanted to do with myself and with my passions. I just believe that what I'm doing is right for me right now and then go for it. Somehow the universe hears me loudly and clearly and says...'well, okay then...go for it!' What the universe doesn't always include is the clause about purposeful and passionate goals being incredibly challenging and not always running in smoothly! This is where resilience and patience have saved me from throwing my hands in the air and giving up. I'm a bit like a dog with her bone...but hopefully with more wisdom to let go when the struggle becomes too much to bear. I am incredibly excited to begin this journey with you and hope that you are with me, too! As we travel this path together I would like to learn how you feel about death and dying. I also would like to know what motivates you, what gives you purpose and meaning in your life...and most importantly...what are your passions? Come join me and together we will discover what living fully before dying is all about...and why taking a closer look at death makes a difference! "You will need to find your passion. Don't give up on finding it because then all you're doing is waiting for the Reaper." Randy Pausch Carnegie Mellon Commencement Speech, 2008
